Chief Pilot
We are looking for a passionate leader to manage our corporate aviation team with aircraft located in Knoxville, TN; Bloomington, IN. Boise, ID; Arlington, TN; and Sioux City, IA.
The Joe Morten & Son Aviation Division is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of senior management to both domestic and international appointments, adjusters responding to the scene of an insured's accident, and internal employees traveling for business reasons. We operate our aviation department with the business philosophy; The Difference is Service® and expect a high level of internal service be provided to all passengers aboard our aircraft. You will interact with passengers while providing a pleasant environment, appropriately stocked amenities, and the smoothest possible flight conditions.
As a Chief Pilot managing the Joe Morten & Son Aviation Division in Sioux City, IA you will ensure the aircraft are operated to the highest level of safety and that all crew members maintain professional standards at all times. This includes assigning and supervising the duties of flight and ground personnel, coordinating aircraft maintenance with flight scheduling, staying current with federal and local flight regulations, and performing the duties of Captain and Co-Captain.
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree or equivalent in years of commercial flight experience.
•Airline Transport Pilot license, 3000 hours total flight time, including 500 hours jet PIC flight time.
•Operate a CJ1 and CJ3. C525 type rating preferred. The annual aircraft utilization averages 400 hours.
•Ability to fly internationally.
•Managerial skills and experience.
•Thorough technical knowledge of aircraft equipment and maintenance.
•Thorough knowledge of flight operations and FAA requirements.
